Set within a grand four-story Georgian property in Edinburgh, we adore the beautiful blush tones of this stunning Arbor kitchen, providing a wonderful touch of femininity. This was our client’s second Harvey Jones kitchen, and in this project, they wanted a transitional-styled kitchen with timeless characteristics to complement the period features of their family home.
The antique brass handles provide an aged charm and are recurrent throughout this pleasant kitchen from the lighting fixtures and open shelving supports, all the way down to the traditional tap. Forming a grand centrepiece within this room, the deep red island confidently complements the colour scheme while providing crucial preparation space, integrated appliances and maximum storage with full-depth cupboards and drawers on both sides. We love the nod towards old-world charm in this kitchen, with a proud black AGA, low-level cabinetry, and open shelving illuminated often with natural light flowing through the balcony doors and gently glimmering onto the delicate Calacatta Gold quartz surfaces and splashback.
